How to post in Triple A forum

@Panther just to clarify his issue. He joined the triplea site 29 days ago. Same name as here but he can’t create any topics or reply to any. Says no priviledges.

I didn’t see anything in settings to turn on.

@board-3659 so you didn’t get a chat at the triplea site from me ? If so something must’ve got jacked when you signed up. Panther is active on both sites and is quite knowledgeable about this stuff, so you’ll have to wait for him to respond.

He’s in Germany, so you probably won’t hear anything tonight, assuming you’re in the US. He’ll get ya dialed in : )

@board-3659 hmm…no i haven’t. Something else you could try is going to github and posting there, since you can’t even post your problem. Yea you gotta sign up, but if you’re making a map you’ll have to anyway.

I’d suggest something like “New Triplea Account Unable to Create Topics or Post” for the title

Are you using different browsers and different devices to log in on both forums?

The “Login Sessions” information - bound to your account - here is different from the one on triplea-game. org. Interestingly you currently don’t have a valid session over there. Also a very different IP-address.

So you might use a different device to log in and/or maybe a different browser. Also maybe a different internet connection.

Usually - if the forum doesn’t show as expected - this is caused by the browser not having loaded the latest needed information.

So this is what you should try:

• When logged in into the forum, perform a browser refresh - does that help?

If not:

• Log out of the forum.
• Close your browser.
• Reopen you browser.
• Clear your browser cache.
• Login in to the forum again.
• if the buttons still don’t show do another refresh/reload.

Better now? Please report back.

Ah, I just noticed that.
Indeed, most likely you are an “unverified user” - and this is the reason why you can’t do all of this.

How did you “mess up the email verification”? What does the confirmation email say? Can you retry?
