That is an interesting trick. You have to have land troops to stop spawning but you have planes there to kill the unit before it can capture the territory.

I’m looking at the position and start to think that the tank I sent to Syria doesn’t really have a future there. It’s better used up north.

I would say that the battle in Cairo didn’t impact at all. Rather the opposite. If anything keeping all 3 inf from the attack would make the tank in Syria better.
