    Great that you pointed out my miscalculation. Was thinking that a lot of air could land in z79, but that’s 5 moves. C’est incredible.

    @trulpen I’d go with surface ships. You have subs to absorb most of the Italian fleet’s attack but if he doesn’t bring a destroyer, he can force you to lose a surface ship or two, since the air can only hit surface ships without a destroyer (and swing the odds in favour of the German air (which is 4 figs, 4 tacs, and 4 sbs). Both cruisers and a destroyer going from 80 to 97 should keep both 80 and 97 safe.

    I think he is unlikely to do the attack on 97, even at current odds, but better not to risk it I think.

    and I don’t think you need the blocker in the Indian ocean. If he lands in Africa, you destroy a chunk of his navy and he will just strand his land units.

    Thing is, I really don’t want 2 measly infs to grab Italian Somalialand and Ethiopia. Of course, costly for J, but it’s 7 income for Russia which they will never get again. A lot was invested to reach that situation. More income for Italy, less units at home for Russia.

    Yep, I know. Have only calculated with the max effort, albeit unlikely, of 4 fig, 4 tac, 4 sb.

    Also realized the air-count got messed up, since UK needed to land 4 figs in z97 and US didn’t build an ab in Norway. Think only 11 air can reach Moscow now, of which 3 are sb’s. That’s shaky. Want to land all air in Persia then. Had an initial plan of building 1-2 figs in Persia, but had to abandon that apparently.
