@brookview you can also download tripleA. Its free. It could help you since you are a beginner to make sure that you dont do any wrong moves. You can use it even when you play with real boardgame. E.g. do the moves also in tripleA and check if allowed or not. If you are interesting the A&A 1941 map its called WW2 v6 1941 in tripleA.
Attacking multiple territories in one combat move?
-
Hi all, just getting into the 1941 game and have a newbie question. On the combat move, I know that you can attack one hostile territory from multiple territories assuming it is within reach a unit’s allotted move. Can you attack multiple territories during one combat move or just one territory per move? Thanks!

@jwarf Hello! You can attack as many territories / sea zones as you wish - so long as each unit is only involved in one attack.

@Private-Panic Thank you for the quick reply! That is helpful and makes tactical sense too! Assume the same for non-combat moves, i.e. that you can move units from multiple locations as long as they are not hostile/occupied, etc?
-
@jwarf You can move any units that did not move in combat into any non-hostile territory / sea zone. There are exceptions. For example air units are the only ones that can move in both combat and non-combat - in fact they must do so (unless they are landing on an aircraft carrier) as they cannot land in territories captured in the turn. Also subs not involved in combat can move into hostile sea zones in which there is no enemy destroyer present.

@Private-Panic said in Attacking multiple territories in one combat move?:
Also subs not involved in combat can move into hostile sea zones in which there is no enemy destroyer present.
A small correction: Subs can even move into seazones containing an enemy destroyer:
Rulebook, 1941, page 20:Submarines: Unlike other sea units, submarines can move through and even into hostile sea zones during this phase.
However, a submarine must end its movement when it enters a sea zone containing one or more enemy destroyers.@jwarf Welcome to the forum :slightly_smiling_face:
