first round went really well for japan, could have been really ugly if things hadnt evened out a bit in second round (not that it counts as even) I had miscalculated the odds but i dont know if it mattered. I have played too defensively this game and now I am behind. we will see if its too late to recover but this helps a little. Was very surprised you went there. I had planned on just strafing since with no naval base any damage to the carriers would have crippled the fleet. I could have backed off and finished it off next turn but decided to press.
I heard its really nice in the Marianas though so I am sure they will have a party. I promise not to intrude.

haha yah, that was a pretty solid result for you, however, that also cost you a ton of air power. allies have a lot of units coming japan’s way, so we’ll see if she can hold herself together without the air its accustomed to

yep, take your time. This pace has been a bit fast, though I was ready to give up. Frustrated with how things went in europe. I was way too defensive. Trying to balance things out and I think i went too conservative. I really thought I would break into the money but I guess the losses round one that caused delays for the mech added up just enough to let russia get settled.
also, amazing that you and adam have played 9 rounds in 3 days. You guys think so fast.
