    While attacking Norway, the dialog box asked if I wanted to attack the German sub. I closed the box so I could see what the Brits had to attack the sub. The computer then assumed no, and didn’t bring the choice back up. I don’t want to redo everything, so I will make a separate battle for sz125 and ignore the dice for the bombardment.

    The ship bombard missed anyway and your sub missed, so nothing to edit. Battle in Solomon was 50-50. I missed and you hit 1. I meant to retreat but clicked too quickly and lost the remaining unit. Now will have to hope ANZ can win the 50-50.

    btw, by rules, you are not allowed to retreat an amphibious assault, which is why the TripleA engine didn’t give you a chance to do it. It merely continued the battle

    You’re right, I forgot that ANZ transport is not at a naval base, so it can’t reach and forgot about not being allowed to retreat. If I had had a bomber in Hawaii or Australia, it could have joined the attack on Solomon. Normally, the Allies could respond when based in sz54. Good catch that I was out of position. I know that I couldn’t attack the sub in sz125 and bombard. I tried to move the screen to see what UK had to attack with, but couldn’t so closed the dialogue box and it chose no sea battle by default.
