No matter what kind of battle, it is the ordinary people who suffered a lot.
The Black Death is back
-
Apparently the Black Death is back and spreading in Madagascar. Is this the end of the world?
-
Man - that’s old news. I read that like last month.
No one cares - it’s a tragedy.
-
So not the end of the world. OK
-
You may proceed with your League games.

And keep in mind that, at least in terms of Europe, today’s population probably isn’t as vulnerable to the plague than Europe’s population in the 14th century was because it descends from the (roughly) 50% of the population who survived the disease, meaning those whose genetic profile included a greater immune resistance to the disease. Virulent pathogens sometimes put themselves out of business when they’re so aggressive that they kill off all of the hosts who can be infected by it, leaving behind a population consisting mostly of those who can’t be infected by it.

1. The world is over populated. Bring it!
2. In most of my A&A games, no one goes for madagascar, so the plague should be naturally quarantined. -
Although…. I once saw once a British fighter that got stranded on Madagascar because ALL of Africa and the middle east had been taken over by the axis, and their nearest carrier was in hudson’s bay if i recall correctly.
-
I seen an episode of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown from there. It looked like there was a lot of poverty so you can see why a disease like this might return in a place like that.
