An interesting variation on the point; but nothing got paired multiple times at once. Good call.
I refer to both TAC+FIG and ART+MAN as a “combat pair” (or if confusing, “air pair”) when I roll–but that pairing concept 1:1 is the key I think.
Does anyone know how the 1st Edition UK national objective for no subs in the Atlantic was worded?
Thanks.
Evening YG.
Exact words are: if there are no German Submarines anywhere on the board.

Really?… I thought even if there was a German sub in the Baltic, the UK still got their 5 IPCs
I found this old thread, but it doesn’t give precise wording… http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?action=printpage;topic=37370.0
On page 23 Europe , 1st Edition.
Wish I could take a photo and show you.

PM your phone number, if so. Can send a photo that way.
Or wait for Krieghund.
The errata modified it to: “5 IPCs if there are no German submarines anywhere on the board other than in the Baltic Sea (sea zones 113-115), the Black Sea (100), and the Caspian Sea (unnumbered).”
Thanks Krieghund. I thought it sounded wrong; your explanation helps me to see why I thought that.
Awesome, thanks Krieghund… while you’re here, any chance we can get a brief explanation why this and the London NO for Germany were dropped in 2nd Edition?
Thanks again.
