Just to clarify, i don’t mean they can attack 3 times with that advantage, it is a one time thing, only they may choose to do it on J2 OR J3 provided they are not yet at war instead of first turn.

RE: Japan 1 Strategic advantage
I was thinking that the sneak attack could be used up until the US enters the war on their own. So on J2 OR J3 since you have only been at war with China you could sneak attack US, ANZAC,UK…… Is it too much of an advantage for Japan?

Japan 1 Strategic advantage
Has anybody ever played around with a J1 sneak attack advantage similar to original Pacific.
Maybe not quite as good as all defenders roll a 1 but maybe all defenders(excluding China and maybe a rule against Russia) roll at one point less. So men defend at a 1 tanks at a 2 etc.
Or
Japan chooses on territory that gets this defense penalty.
Any one else use a similar rule that works or does this upset the balance too much?

Quick Question about printing global game aids
what is the best product that you have seen these aids printed on? I just used regular computer paper and that is clearly not a long term solution. What can be used at home for a long term option. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Hawaii
I am a relatively new player…… I was curious to see the strategic value of Hawaii for Japan, Aside from attacking it if US leaves a navy there Do you guys ignore it mostly or do you think it is relevant to invest in taking/holding it?

Question about sealion
I am about to start playing with germany for the first time and know of operation sealion. My question is this, is there one best sequence for a successfull operation sealion or can you vary it up in your experience. I would be interested in reading several buy options.

Question about National Objectives
I am just starting out playing Global 1940 and had a question regarding National Objectives
I will use USSR for an example: The USSR collects 37 IPC’s to start the game, One of the NO’s states for the USSRCollect 5 IPCs if sea zone 125 is free of Axis Warships. Archangel is controlled by the Soviet Union, and there are no units belonging to any other Allied powers present in any territories originally controlled by the Soviet Union.
When the Soviets have turn 1 (assuming the conditions above are met) do they add 5 IPC making a starting income of 42? Or reversed if the above NO is not met, (say germany has a sub in sz 125) do the Soviets start at 32 IPC? I am confused as to wether the NO is built into the 37 IPC’s……Any help is appreciated
