I think we’re talking Hellcat TDs here fellows. Which is a favorite of mine either way.
I didn’t even think about the Hellcat Tank Destroyers! For some reason, I assumed he was talking about Hellcat Fighter planes because like Tall Paul mentioned, there will be Hellcat Fighters in the “Island Warfare” expansion set. But that set hasn’t actually been made yet so DUH! Of course it would be the Hellcat Tank Destroyers, a unit that actually exists now. That’s cool with me too. Those are neat little pieces too.

Unless there is something Coach has not been telling us… keeping a surprise in store.
While I think that unlikely, it is still a possibility until he confirms what the piece actually is.

Coach,
Is the G36 new map going to be exactly the same size as the G39 map?
Making 2 G39 custom gaming tables so need to know so if I get G36 map I can swap out one of the G39 maps.
-
I’m curious to know how many times it takes to play the G36?
Any one tried it?AL

Actually is the F6F Hellcat Fighter. We are revamping our Global Expansion sets.
We also have a Jackson TD in the “Amerika” mold and will sell those on a individual basis. -
WOW Coach! That’s cool! I wasn’t expecting that at all.

Hey HBG,
what about the hawker typhoon and the Beaufighter as UK unit….
I love that beast… -

I love that beast…The Typhoon is a must… but all in good time I am sure. Can’t do it all at once.

Very excited for this!
But what exactly does revamping mean? As in you want more piece diversity? Are not happy with current molds? Either way, I am grateful for the new stuff.

Is the G36 new map the exact same size as the G39 map?

Looks like the M3 will need to be smaller.
-
@coachofmany:
Looks like the M3 will need to be smaller.
Maybe just a little bit. If you want it to be of similar size to the Japanese and German halftracks.
It is a little hard to judge the size of the ships from this picture, but it seems like the cruiser and maybe the battleship are pretty big. Not necessarily too big, because big ships are nice, but as I said it is hard to tell.
We have been through this a number of times, but a clarification on sizes:
Is there a largest ship type in your plans? As in heavy battleships and heavy aircraft carriers are of approximately equal size and are the largest ships. With ships like the Yamato, Midway and Montana(?) being produced should other ships be smaller? It looks like that from recent sets and in this picture, but I did not know if there was an explicit sizing rule that HBG is using.
-
These ships are ALL OOB size plus 5% for shrinkage.
The Midway Carrier will be larger Not the Essex.@coachofmany:

The Midway Carrier will be larger Not the Essex.Yeah, that is what I thought.
Midway > Essex/Yorktown/Lexington > Casablanca, et al.
Likewise:
Montana > Iowa/S. Dakota/N. Carolina > Nevada
Yamato > Nagato/Kongo > Fuso
Correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for the enlightenment Coach. Appreciate your work and dedication.

Guys,
@coachofmany:
Actually is the F6F Hellcat Fighter.
**––I told you so! This is exactly why I’ve been buying OOB Guadalcanal “Wildcats” to be used as “EARLY” naval fighters,… I planned on using HBG’s new F-6F “Hellcat” as a more modern naval Fighter.----And as always,…THANK’S AGAIN COACH & THE HBG STAFF!
