Great attention to detail, and you really know how to spoil your fellow players. Looks like you have the 2nd edition board, I can’t believe that WOTC didn’t fix the dark convoy symbols…. crazy. Are you playing some kind of house rule using Canada as a separate nation?

The Canadian units are just for a better look, they are used as normal on UK turn  :-)
For the same reason I use the finnish and neutral units, oil markers, canadian roundels, hellcat fighter and the red mongolian units. Now the only thing missing are the combat dice from fmg and some strict neutral units.

…oh I forgot, yes thats the second edition board. I was also hoping that they worked on the symbol issue. Perhabs they use it as a argument for the 3rd edition. Thats WOTC style  :-)
But I will be happy if I get the combat dice I ordered November 2011  :-D

  Awesome looking table. I was wondering where did you find the two tiered storage thingies. Me and a couple of buds are building a table and are looking for something like that. We are stationed overseas so maybe you could point use to an online retailer?? Thanks. Again good looking table

I’m not sure what you mean by dated.  If any of the links in the first post are no longer valid or have changed to new URLs, let me know what the correct new links are and I’ll be glad to make the necessary corrections.  (I’m hoping it won’t be necessary because, due to the board’s current software, this will introduce a whole bunch of black diamonds into the text of the post.)  If you mean that the first post only lists the small number of table picture threads that existed at that time, this was always the original intention.  The first post was simply meant to be the starting point for the overall thread, with new links for new gaming tables being added to the thread afterwards as separate posts.  In other words it’s the overall thread itself that was meant to collect links, not just the first post.Â

OK, understood…. I thought other links would be added to make post #1 a one stop shop for all the different table pics.

Table that I’ve been wanting to build since 1984 dreaming as a kid… I have seen pretty impressive tables at gencon and a lot of tables in this forum gave me some inspiration. Young grasshopper’s table I liked the most and it follows his design with the map he worked on. Hope you like as I will be breaking it in with my two boys and some friends this labor day weekend.

If you wanted to make about 5 of these, I bet they could fetch at least $1600 > $1900 each.

I actually thought a second about that considering the game-table company geekchic that goes to gencon every year, but at this point I am not sure I could handle customer service on that one, lol.  The materials cost about the following

Jatoba raw wood-  $300
2 white oak base 4x8 plywood sheets- $65
2x2 underbase frame support- $30
vinyl map - $150
Lacquer - $10
Suede material for dice rolling box and compartments - $16
Spray adhesive- $12
labor- ….many weekends lol

It is more a gentleman�s room with nice small bar.
The game table is similar to the one a few posts ago.
The only differences are two dice towers and the amazing combat dice from FMG.
