@clamoxyl Welcome to the forum.
Have you looked at https://boardgamegeek.com/ ?
Good luck.
Is there a post somewhere which shows what all the different acronyms mean? It’s hard to follow posts when I don’t understand what any of it means. I’ve learned some of them but it seems everywhere I’m reading about BB, DD, CV, DEI, and all the such. If there’s a post which shows all these acronyms it would be appreciated. Thanks.
Holy cow that’s a lot. Thanks Krieg.
There’s two I don’t know that I couldn’t find on that list:
ACME Wall and KISS
The only KISS I know is Keep it Simple Stupid. I have no idea on the other.
EDIT: Hopefully you didn’t think I was calling YOU stupid, I was just telling you what it means. Figured I better clear that up before somebody gets upset.
KISS = Keep it Simple [Stupid]
ACME Wall = not an acronym, in particular. To the best of my understanding, Funcionetta uses this term to disparage the rule he severely dislikes that China is limited for where it can go, while other powers are not. It is a references to the Wyle E. Coyote cartoons - e.g. the walls with tunnels painted on them that the roadrunner runs right through but when Wyle E. tries he gets smashed.
Let me send you the CORRECT thread to review regarding in game acronyms.
Don’t get caught up, and taught the WRONG stuff.

Nice.
I do believe the reason BB, CA, CV, DD are used is because they are official in the US navy.
Not applicable to Axis and Allies is modern weaponry but add a “G” to it and they are guided missile capable, “N” means its propulsion is Nuclear.
So on…

which is just too much of a leap for my brain… it sticks at “Armour Piercing” or “Anti-personnel” and looks for context on dry land
