Re: Axis and Allies Pacific 1940 2nd Edition ( AAP40.2) FAQ/question What is the underlying logic or likely logic in the rule that the defender gets to choose the units to take the hits?
Why would a Kamikaze pilot not be able to choose its intended target, particularly against a capital battleship that already has one hit, or against an amphibious assault transport?
In a Naval battle with more than one capital battleships, wouldn’t the defender logically always take one hit to each battleship before sinking a battleship, but an attacker would logically target the weakened battleship?
