It happens here and there. Most likely not a TripleA issue, but the webserver responding.

axisandallies.org and the forum have been down for hours today.
It was unavailable from at least 11.00 until 17.00 h German time today (UTC+0200).
The same happened two days ago.A 404 error had been shown.

I noticed the same thing today and over the weekend… site down for hours in the morning.
-
It happened again some hours ago.
-
… and again … offline for hours today…
What is wrong?
-
Yep… you’re not alone…
-
And again this afternoon I believe P@nther :-(
-
… and today…

Does servers need to re-boot? Or shutdown to make back-up files?
-
Yeah, for some reason I did see the alert lat night. The one before that I was literally off-the-grid camping so it took about 4 hours to get it back up.
I’m working on a script to automatically restart but I’m having issues. :-(

Thanks for the update :-)
Indeed the website responded “404” from about Sunday morning until this early morning (German time= UTC+0200). -
I have a new script running that will detect a 404 and restart php. It checks once every minute.
-
Glad to hear it dj. Thanks for putting this in place.

Good news. Thanks a lot :-)

The site was down for at least a solid 24 hours straight… I started to think to myself “well, I’m glad I at least downloaded all the custom map files for the games before the site went off-line”.
-
So the script worked. At 6:58am there was a 404 error, I received a phone call from Uptime (unfortunately), and about a minute or less later the script kicked in and restarted the server.

It just happened again some minutes ago - and the website was back only one or two minutes after I noticed it. Great script! Thank you. :-)
