I just edited Russian income, the 5 Lend&Lease NO was not added in the Russian move.
Maybe removing some of the Japanese air is a good idea I never thought much about that, but as Japan has so many enemies on all sides they quite need strong airforce… anyway it looks to me that with all these house rules it is super hard for Axis already… this will likely be my first loss for Axis side ever… Germany is really missing its bombers, without them Allies are pretty much free to wander in MED… maybe it was a mistake for Germany to ignore MED in G1, in UK1 you took full advantage of that and attacked all Italian positions in MED and end up victorious in all… maybe UK does not need that extra sub in SZ98 after all… maybe if Germany plays it little bit to support MED in G1/G2 then Italy can grow little bit and at least be some challenge for Allies. I was just worried that if Germany plays its resources against MED then Russia will be too strong… pretty much all German money except couple subs went towards Eastern front, still I can hardly park in Ukraine now…
Also the self can opening for US is huge, US fleet now parked at Carolines without Japan being able to block it from anywhere… US can pretty much hit anywhere it likes to… trying to think how to make self can opening somehow harder, maybe only armor and cruisers shall be allowed to attack in blitz combat… without any support at all…
Also, not collecting income for just conquered enemy territories is pretty hard on axis… it costs them tons of IPCs… -19 in J2 was especially brutal, for sure US is now strong enough to neutralize either Japan or Germany… but hard to tell if US shall now focus on 1 theater or kind of divide resources 50:50…
anyway it wood be good to see Axis losing this game hard… then we can try to reduce effect of some rules. All my previous attempts to help allies with simple initial bids or extra US income just failed to balance the game.
I like what you are doing. I am with you 100% on findind a solution. I hate the axis superiority over the whole map. I will try and work out a balance with you.
