Btw I will throw everything and the kitchen sink after sz41 so I suspect you want a best defense OOL but the question is at what point do you lose your last dd? Before or after the confirmed kill of the last Japanese submarine?

Since I had bad luck in my battle and you had good luck in yours you did not just even out but came out ahead in regards to those two battles. In the game at large I felt you already was ahead but perhaps we disagree on that? :-)

Yes, I think the allies were ahead before the 41 battle by some. After 41 I think they were behind by some. After the Japan raid, now I think the Allies are probably back in the lead mostly because I think it will take Japan some time before it can get in position to threaten/take sydney or hawaii.

The axis still have a lot of life in them though… I definitely do not want to sound like it’s all down hill here for the Allies. If I had bad luck in the Japan raid, then it really would have ben bad bad new for the Allies.

Well I think the axis needed a little boost and they got the opposite so I fear they are doomed. Having control over the middle east and quite as fun when the allies control Normandy and Russia is closer to capturing Berlin than Germany are to capturing Moscow. But I’ll keep slugging it out for awhile longer… :-)
