Alright, I played a game of Global on TripleA yesterday but have never Played by Forum. If anyone will have me on their team that’s cool. This week I’ll try and play an easier game like Classic or 42 by forum and get the kinks out. The game works really well and looks great. So for the record, I’m looking for a partner with PBF experience that can fix my screw ups and has patience for foolish, undermanned attacks, as “Never tell me the odds” has been my creedo since I was 5 and Harrison Ford was cool.

Considering the interest, the fact we have 12 more days to deadline, and the fact we have 7 players (atleast 3 teams) already waiting to be assigned.  I’ve opted to push for a 32 team tournament.  This is the PERFECT number of teams for a double elimination tournament of this size.

If we don’t make it, it’s no big deal,  but if we do, everyone will get playing right away! So get out there, and lets get the last few stragglers in the door (I’ll be campaigning for people all next week, but I’ll need your help,  Big names like Soul, DarthMaximus, Cmndr Jen, Emporer Mollari, Rising Dragon, Yoshi, etc, are still unregistered!  PM them!)  If 20 more people register and team, we’re go for launch!

2. I would wait til you got 32 teams b/c that will give Veqryn time to finish the update which he said he could finish within the month.  Many people are already playing TripleA and he already has a list of 7-8 things needed to change.

With this kind of list, its probably best to wait til the update, otherwise there will be too much confusion b/c people will have to use “Edit” mode a lot.  I think for a “kickoff” event like this for TripleA you really need the most refined version and there is as few complications as possible.  Just my opinion that’s all.

Veqryn, will tech my finished by the next update too.  Probably not a need for Garg’s tourny, but that would be cool.

What can I say? Garg talked me into this…

It’s my first time out with play-by-forum, so teaming with a veteran is a must. Will play Italy, or USSR, or whatever undesirable country is tossed my way.

I’m doing this to get familiar with TripleA, and play with a new set of folks. If it’s any incentive to conscripting me, I’ve been playing in a non-professional capacity since Gamemaster series; have experience with every version of the game since.
