Wasn’t the cartoon called Snagglepuss? Or was that just the main character’s name? I seem to remember watching it when I was a kid….long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away.

@Knp : yep, it was Snagglepuss.  It originated earlier than that but that’s the cartoon character that used the phrase.
