I used barnstorming over St Lo. Also, during the combat move phase some kind of weird corruption happened so I had to edit in the fighters after opening a new file. The German AA missed south of St Lo.

also jen the links you provided have been changed to reflect the updated rules, I am not sure where I can find the older version of a+3 online… I had it printed out but I threw it away when the newer version came out.
-
In other words you may have to explain the rules to him, I also strongly suggest the allies get a bid for the older version.

I am not referring to the Pacific. I am only talking the Atlantic near Canada. As far as I saw in Larry’s site, that rule did not change in Alpah 3.9 either. Basically, the way I read the rules, America is not allowed to move within one movement of Africa, Europe or the British Isles (England/Ireland).
The Pacific rule has always (Alpha 3, Alpha 3.9) been that America can go anywhere except end next to a Japanese territorory.

I quoted the rule and gave a link.

America squeeks out a victory. Though, I should have expected to only get one of your ships.
I need scramble orders for SZ 109. The French guy still gets to unload, of course, and I am not sure if England wants to expend RAF on SZ 109. Come to think of it, I don’t think they would - if you change your mind, I can roll more defenders later.

I moved the French guy to England.
Build: 2 Destroyers in SZ 113
Build: 1 Submarine in SZ 112
Build: 6 Infantry, 4 Artillery in GermanyCollect: 5 Novgorod, 5 Sweeden, 52 TT = 62 IPC
For those observers out there, obviously I am doing something radically different than Sea Lion.
-
scratch that, moving the Aircraft Carrier to the destroyer fleet.
-
ok, looks fine. interesting move… i kinda figured you would go for russia since it would expend less of your army. a fine play… those 3 inf/3 arm are going to wreak a lot of havoc, i fear.
one french move… the dd moves to join the british fleet off india.
i will get australia 2 and russia 3 posted later today.

They had 14 IPC, not 12 IPC as I thought when I posted the turn - according to the map. So they saved 4, not 2.
And yes, I am trying something new with the Axis, namely, not suiciding on England’s doorstep.
