no, if there are changes in purchase, they have to happen before dice are rolled. once dice are rolled, we shouldn’t be changing purchases, but never hurts to ask for permission nonetheless, as we can make a judgement call and allow it, but that’s very situational.

i hadn’t rolled any dice when i mentioned the swap, so it’s really just a shortcut for instead of redoing all the purchase and then combat movement, i just let you know in here that before i do combats and roll dice, i am going to do swaps. you can do same thing, no need to ask, just mention it before you roll dice and that’s acceptable. does that make sense? that’s pretty common convention on this forum.
