    Page 16: “As with loading, offloading can only be done to an adjacent territory from
    a friendly sea zone”

    The lack of a non-combat move means that the zone must be cleared prior to the UK turn. I think this is the same situation we had in the game where the USA fleet got stuck up in much the same way.


  • @the_good_captain Do you mind if I roll some extra dice, then? I took my full health French BB Vs. your Damaged BB + CR during the French turn. Both sides scored a hit then I stopped (with the idea that the British BB would finish the job while the TTs went on to Karelia). I would like instead to press combat with the French BB instead, with the hope of either killing the damaged German BB or at least getting a tie to clear to clear the Sea Zone.


  • @domanmacgee let 'er rip - just hook up to the server and under “Game” select “Roll Dice”. Make sure it’s set “6” sides and roll one die. That will be the French BB.

    Repeat the process for the German BB and on and on until whatever outcome transpires.

    The rest of the turn went well for UK/Entente Navies but losing a turn tempo-wise getting from UK -> Karelia made the gambit I played in Poland R1 retroactively not worth it at all.


  • @domanmacgee just a heads up - the UK transports did not have to evacuate the SZ of battle. In other words, even if the UK navy had been defeated, they could simple declare they are “no longer attacking” and simply exist in the SZ with the enemy BB.     in this file, I replaced the neutral Albanians with Italians. We haven’t really been doing this with Serbia/Romania but …there are options with these Italians with the navy and whatnot so. I dunno - looks more clean to me this way. eh…


  • @domanmacgee another weird bit about TripleA - it gets the sub rules wrong. If/when you go for the German sub, use the manual dice roller. Reason being - if the first shot(s) are a miss, the sub owner can decide to forgo a return shot and submerge instead, ending the combat.

  • @domanmacgee before I take Germany’s turn - I was reviewing the game history and realized on the last UK turn there was an amphibious operation against the Union of South Africa. The German’s should have had a pre-invasion artillery shot. Did you roll an independent die? The reason I ask is that I noticed the artillery boxes weren’t used so just checking. I could look through my emails but there are so many at this point, I’ll just take your word for it.


  • @the_good_captain Nope. I totally bungled it. Best fix would probably be to:

    1. Roll the die and get a hit on 3 or less.
    2. I got exactly 2 hits with UK, so if you hit, then we can either:
      a. Roll a 50/50 chance to see if a hit gets retroactively removed from Germany.
      b. Re-roll the 3 surviving UK units (3@3) to see if they are still able to kill the Germans.

  • @domanmacgee no worries. I did the EXACT same thing the other day as the UK as well. And no matter, the shot registered as a miss.
