    Seemed likea good opportunity, although not sure if strategically it was the best thing in the long run as the IJN is out of position to defend the DEI and Malaya, but Australia can grow to be a real problem. It is a difficult balance for Australia, needs to balance defensive units woth ones that’ll hurt Japan. I think you’ve done all you can do, which is to hurt Japan on the other fronts (in this game with the Russians, Chinese and UK).

    I feel happier about the Japanese fleet this game. You’ve made yourself a nice home in Normandy real fast in this game, definately caught me out as I was looking eastwards.


  • @flyingbadger Yes, I am thinking if I would have heavily invested in defensive units only, maybe I could have defended Australia, but on the other hand who knows. Well, that is why this game is so interesting, there are probably no absolutely right decisions, but there are better and worse obviously.

    Hopefully Japan will need to focus on other areas of the map and Australia will be forgotten. Some guerilla to spring up there? :)

    Europe is fine this time, it will slow down Wehrmacht.
