The money

How many people here actually use the paper money? I know I do. (for lack of a better system) What do you use? Does anyone us the electronic banking system from the monopoly games? I have never used the electronic one before so if you have could you just tell me if it you believe it would work well.
-
i’ve never really contemplated using anything other than the paper money. i mean, it’s so simple
-
I use the IPC’s
-
There was mention of a banking or electronic system on these boards, but it was some time ago. I don’t have it saved on this computer, but if I remember I’ll try to find it on the other system. I use the money that came with the game.
-
have used pencil and paper for about fifteen years now
-
Me too, I have used paper and pencil since classic. My AA 50 $ is still in the plastic. Only when playing with large groups of people or newbies will I use the cash.
-
I use my AMEX
-
We replaced the money with poker chips, works much better IMHO.
-
We’ve used paper for many years.
It helps to have a form to fill out. Here’s our latest that may have some house rule indicators that others would not use (must roll chips).
But you can just ignore those. If anyone would like to use this and has any questions, please post here because others probably would have the same question(s).

Yes, my AAR and AA50 money is still in the plastic. :-)
Messy players have a tendency to accidentally ‘lend lease’ paper money to other nations.
With parchment and scribe (or charts), one can clearly see if a nation did not spend or receive income.

I do agree that writing down can be great.
But I feel that holding the ipc in hands give yourself a better feeling

That pile of poker chips can be awesome too.
Especially when you hold them in your hands and let them fall thru your fingers one by one to let your opponents know what builds you will have coming!!
