Have fun gaming !
@Nolimit The answer is no to both. Isn’t the anniversary like 500?
@Nubnumber1 If you mean Anniversary is 50/50 concerning win-loss ratio between the 2 sides, then no- it’s Axis favored, like to play you over the YouTube someday to prove Classic is Too Allied favored even with the Russian restricted rule! Hard to believe you haven’t played Anniversary or G40, they’re both a whole lot more better games than Classic although I still like to play it at times!!!

@AndrewAAGamer Hi Andrew. OOB we play without Russia restricted too. I can win with both axis and allies. We never play with a bid
Thanks! Playing Russia Restricted helps the Axis a little bit but I would assume the Allies are still slightly favored. Back in the day when I played Classic a lot we got up to $21-$22 bids. If I remember correctly, and I don’t think I do, I think Russia Restricted took that down to around $10 or so…
@Nolimit lol No, I meant didn’t the anniverary board game cost $500. I am kind of a cheap bastard.
As far as a classic game goes, that sounds like fun. Although, I am not sure how a you tube game would work. I have never done it before. Let me know how that would work and we could set something up.

Check this out, it’s pretty much how the community plays over the YouTube!!!🎲💥

Ummm, this seems very complicated and slow. Why not just use TripleA? What am I missing? People get paid for watching videos on YouTube?
@AndrewAAGamer A bit slower perhaps but not really complicated, some players don’t have Computers and Triple A isn’t compatible with phones or tablets generally-A big plus for YouTube Wars is that you can share your game+fun visually with the community and can you exchange comments+even Network with the viewers!!!
Ahh, cool, thanks for explaining the benefits to me.
Hi everyone.
I am a new wargamer from Canada. I have played Axis & Allies only three times. I would like to play more often but it’s hard to find players and now, because of covid-19 it’s worst.
So right now, in the middle of this pandemic, I am trying to see if there is a way to play Axis & Allies solo. I am also interested in learning about solo hex and counters wargames.
Have a great day!
@SniperSquad Hello SniperSquad, and welcome to the forums.
Have you heard of Triple A ? You can play Axis and Allies and many variants online. There are a lot of people who play online here on the forums and it would be a way for you to play more often.

Yes I have but unfortunately I don’t have a computer anymore. I do everything on my old six years old iPad and TripleA doesn’t work.
@Nubnumber1 ooooooooooOOOO buddy you have got to play Anniversary or Global 1940. It is the best type of Axis and Allies fun. Do it! LoL
Hi. I go by Irving Arturion and I’m new to this forum. I have been playing Axis and Allies since 2015, but I am still a novice at the games.
I play 1914, 1940 Global (second edition), Anniversary, and 1941. Anniversary and Global are my favorites.
There’s not much else to say. Thank you for reading.
@Irving-Arturion Have you ever played the 1942 second edition, it’s great- also have you ever considered playing over the YouTube?
welcome
axis amd allies is a great game. Hitler’s Reich is also a great game, card driven and no army units to move.
@Nolimit No and what? What do you mean by “playing over the YouTube?”

Obviously you haven’t heard about the YouTube Wars that’s becoming popular recently, here’s the link to how it goes!

Welcome! Perfect choice in games!
Hi All!
I’m Greyleaf3. I’m a 40-something computer geek (IT support person) from the metro NYC area. I played a whole lot of A&A classic as a teen in the late 1980s. I must’ve played over 100 times back then! I bought A&A revised in 2004 and A&A 1941 in 2017, and both games sat on the shelf unused until recently.
My teenage son became interested in Axis & Allies and it reignited my interest in the hobby. In the past three months, I have played revised four times, 1941 twice, Europe & Pacific @ once each. Also played DDay & Global 1940 exactly once each.
I am astounded by the level of commitment and dedication of some A&A youtubers such as the “Canadian crew” (General hand grenade and others). I am also in awe at the variety, depth, and complexity of A&A games on the market.
I guess it would be cool to find some other grown-up gamers to play with face-to-face in my area. Not sure how I feel about A&A Online on Steam.
@greyleaf3 Welcome! Lots of great choices and you can play here via TripleA in League or Play Boardgames.
