Cool! This will be close!
Another tank found
-
Technicaly it’s a tank distroyer, it looks like a Stug III the site is Cech so I can’t read any thing but the pics are cool:
-
Eventually they can dig up the entire inventory of tanks lost at Kursk and use them to reenact the battle
I cant believe all these tanks are just sitting under dirt and getting started in like 5 minutes and driven away. Its getting ridiculous.
Next they will unbury German war dead and they reanimate as Nazi skeleton warriors and try to take paris again.
-
That sounds like a great movie…
-
:-o
I’m pretty certain that any army can take Paris, undead or not. -
shocked
I’m pretty certain that any army can take Paris, undead or not. winkOH SNAP!! :-D
-
Yea the people in Paris would only need to know when the Nazi skeleton army was arriving, so they can prepare the ceremony and allocate the proper number of waiters for what would be a routine task.
-
lmao

-
Yes they did. Many times
IN 1814 The Russians, Prussians, Austrians
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Paris_(1814)IN 1870 France started another war and got stuffed by Germany after a short siege on Paris it fell as usual…
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franco-Prussian_Warin 1348 or something the Plague took over Paris
and finally the Rats also captured Paris at least once in the early 1830’s and one other time ( forgot the date)
Another invasion is coming soon provided we get adequate support from street cafes.

-
also law firms have invaded Paris
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/25/business/25lawyers.html?pagewanted=printrugby fans took over Paris
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1566771/English-rugby-fans-invade-Paris.htmlvikings took paris
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Paris_(885-886)I think Mexico is the only thing that didn’t invade Paris.

The modern nation of Germany failed in WW1 and succeeded in WW2.
With all this invading there must be something to love.

With all this invading there must be something to love.
Maybe for, “…the warm summer breezes and the french wine and cheeses…”
I understand many go there for answers to questions that bother them so.

I think in the case of Paris these represent just normal military training exercises used to train green troops, so they take on the easiest job possible so as not to hurt anybody….taking paris.
Its like what they call “level one” in any arcade game
-
Another sweet piece of history found. I wonder what they’ll dig up next? Do you know if they got it running? Or are they in the process of repairing it? I would love to see one of those old tanks/tank destroyers in action.

I don’t think the Left Bank is what it used to be, but yeah, the weather, wine and cheese were all fine. And pastries…and the beer (so much better)…and views…and the women…oh god the women.

Despite what you say the French have a history of military success, and have defended Paris on multiple occasions. But Ukraine is weak and game to me.

I am sure they will, it takes years for some of these to get restored, I haven’t seen anything on it running yet.
As to what’s next, they are working on a Stug IV in poland, unfortunately this one looks more like you would expect, due to several fail attempts at recovery:

well tanks for nothin’ !
-
There was a tank supposedly found on D-Day of this year in a French village. They had buried it after hostilities and forgotten about it or something. I’ll try to find a link to it. It was an M5 Stuart methinks.
-
Here it is, it’s another ugly one:
-
Now that I started looking it seems they are pulling tanks out of rivers boggs and holes on a regular basis these days. T34s, BT-5s etc
