I view the essays as para-historical entertainment from someone who contemplates the board waiting to find an opponent.
Welcome to the forum and try the game online. It’s much more interesting than writing and speculating about the game.
I am trying a few Axis strategies where one side of the board does everything it can to help the other side.
I am trying to decide whether Germany and Italy helping Japan or Japan helping Europe is the best strat.
I feel that the game is geared towards Europe and so helping the pacific will throw off game balance and the allies will take too long to respond. (Russia and USA geared to fight in Europe + 1/2 UK). The USA has to go through Panama + 2 majors on Europe side while Russia all factories are in Europe far from pacific. London is poorly positioned to help.
However, I want to ask your guys opinions on which side would be easier and what general strat would be best in regards to the question?
Idk. I do know the Axis are favored in oob with experienced players. Here’s a strategy guide you might want to look at.

It takes so many turns for most units to get from Europe to Asia, or the other way of travel.
By mid-game you can have a couple Japanese tanks/mechs in central Russia, but they are of minor benefit in most matches as they are less effective than Italian can-openers due to turn order.
In regards to naval units, it is such a long path from one theater to the other that I have never found it worth the effort to do the long journey for the Axis. It is different for the Allies where the Indian Ocean fleet could go through the Suez and meet up with the Med forces, or the other way around.
Air power is where you can have a more practical impact. Having a couple Japanese bombers targeting factories in Russia or Egypt is helpful, although you won’t have enough fighter escorts to raid Moscow in many matches. Getting 1 or 2 German bombers to Asia is crazy good as the Allies won’t be able to ship block the Japanese fleet and hence are forced to be much more cautious in their positioning. This was a key component in my recent OOB championship match.
Axis can win on both sides they just have to put enough pressure so that the allies cannot form a unified front.
The problem for the allies is the vast distances, USA has a hard time getting into play either on pacific and europe. The axis have smaller internal lines easier to reinforce.
It takes time for the allies to shift between the 2 boards. And axis are favored because of this ( and the turn order ) you just need to learn to abuse your advantage and leverage it.
Dont spread your forces, just make a single point attack on both boards, the allies are spread thin and cannot reinforce every part fast enough just make sure that you focus your resources and if the allies leave a gap in their defences abuse it.
Germany/Italy can switch from russia to afrika or from london to russia in 1 turn. UK takes several turns to switch from sealion defence to helping russia.
