Yeah, did not see it coming. I think it is within the letter of the rules, but somewhat violates the spirit of the rules. But legal is legal! I appreciate the education.

@Booper Yeah…but a painful education. I’m losing a lot of transports. I had not seen that attack before. Added to the list of gambit moves to watch out for.

Yeah, I lost 2 empty transports early on due to an oversight (pure blunder), and another 2 fully-laden here… the annoying thing in both cases was that they were preventable, as I had the available resources to cover/avoid them if I had seen the attack.
These seemingly small things really add up over the course of the game!
