    Before you get clever enough to claw the initiative back, I have to figure out how not to hand it to you by utilizing the extra money wisely. Struggling with the purchase - gotta keep the british lion at bay, while knowing that every penny spent away from the eastern front gives Russia more time and breathing room it can use to change things.

    @mainah Yeah, you’ve got a lot of options, good luck 😅

    I hope I do not come across as condescending, I know you are new to PtV so I am trying to be generous with the advice… ;)

    A couple thoughts from my POV:
    Since you can scramble to land battles, defending the Norman coast is a lot easier now. I like to build up a stack in Holland when it’s time, since it has double airbases for defensive scrambles and can counterattack a Normandy landing.
    A regular investment into your air force can force UK/US to spend more on fleet, keeping your ground units free to move eastward for longer. I like to buy 1-2 planes and the rest infantry as Germany for the first several rounds.
    Norway is a lot easier to hold onto if you have a couple defended transports in the Baltic, and they can shuck fresh infantry from Germany into Leningrad every round.

    You do not sound condescending at all.
    I have been keeping in mind and thinking about how the enhanced scrambling affects everything. Still hard to plan for it - thankfully TripleA gives the warning.
    The infantry train is on my radar. So are a few other ideas. Had to reign in the desire to go head to head with the fleets - you want to, and know you shouldn’t.

    Still playing around with three general ideas for g3. Your aggression towards Scandinavia is causing some consternation. Would be an easier choice if it wasn’t for that.

    @mainah Yeah, just keep in mind that TripleA allows carrier scrambles that PtV rules don’t. Defend adjacent SZs with just subs or transports or amphibious landings, found out a couple of these the hard way without being adequately inculcated to the specific cases
