@MrRoboto Not sure how I should reply to this…I’m sorry?? I agree that after J1, the game looked bleak. But I always had hope the Germans would save my butt.
I would like to say good job on ELO system. I’m not very invested in either scoring system–I’m somewhere in the middle of the pack for the league. Which isn’t a bad thing. Ever so often I get matched up with a Master level guy and get waxed. And have good games with everyone else.
I would say I was a bit put off with a past discussion about games where the high level players stated that it just isn’t worth it to play lower tiers because the time commitment + penalty to ranking. And from their perspective, I have to agree. Especially in light of the few high level games I’ve played were not competitive–I just got trounced. Maybe ELO ameliorates that some by helping the ranking problem.
