GL & HF
It took me more than 4 days since your move? Sorry. It didn’t seem like that long! I rolled dice yesterday, finished off noncom this morning - the game is posted on the previous post.
Gonna be tough for you from here on…
Today morning I dreamed to conquer Archangel and land there with 2 brit fig and 2 us fig and at Lunch time I lose the game
Maybe I can play a little bit brainwashed kamikaze.
I would be better to attack Rostov. But I play against the champion and I have to use a good chance to destroy german troops and get good position to make it hard for you. But now I made it easy for you. This was an important battle.
Russians roll dice for 2 armour, 2 artilleries, 2 fighters, 1 infantry, 3 mech_infantrys and 1 tactical_bomber in Archangel, round 2 : 2/11 hits, 4,33 expected hits
Germans roll dice for 1 aaGun, 1 armour, 2 infantry and 7 mech_infantrys in Archangel, round 2 : 5/10 hits, 3,50 expected hits

It sounds like you had a good master strategy. I never thought about Allied air coming over.
I think I was just hoping to take out a plane, and if you go all out for Archangel you have no air support elsewhere. The dice let all Russian air go, but then I got very lucky as you know. Next turn you can get air to come into Archangel. I’ll look again at Rostov now. I must have left just enough that you would not attack it!
At a glance, it seems you had a good attack there for a hit and run for 1, 2, or maybe even 3 rounds, but not sure if that leaves you too vulnerable in Bryansk?
And now I see that leaves Bel and WUK, indeed, even the Ukraine un-molested. I am embarrassed to say I did not even consider that, maybe I could have left slightly less on Rostov but of course I do not want to give the dice a chance to mow down my main stack
At the risk of sounding proud, indeed I think it is extremely hard to win against me if I get good dice. :crown:
In America, we say the original nationality first. So we have
African-Americans
Latin-Americans
Italian-Americans
Chinese-Americans
But we do not do this for white northern Europeans. So I like the sound of “German-American” but I have never even considered this name before.
So I really enjoyed that.
Chat to me all you want, I always enjoy it very much.
And I’m glad I have a move to make today, otherwise I would be kind of bored. So thanks for moving Russia!
That movement of AA to Bel is very smart, it’s going to be hard to deal with. Unless I skate by them like you did in Arc
In my opinion, the 14 IPC cost of bombers makes players buy very few. But I think they are still worth considering. I love this 3rd Japanese bomber and am very sad the 3rd German bomber got shot down on the very first mission over Moscow. But hey, it’s a 17% chance.
Remember the bombing of England in the playoff game? Wow, that was memorable.
You may be interested to look at my current game with Roboto, because I have many US bombers early, and bought a battleship two turns in a row into Zone 110. They are not always bad buys, because if someone hits you and doesn’t finish the job, capital ships can immediately repair after soaking hits. And of course the bombardment possibilities (I had no UK cruisers) - I know from experience that you are acutely aware of the value of bombardment.
In the classic game, bombardment casualties didn’t get to return fire, they were just blown off the face of the earth. You probably know that, since you’re interested in playing classic with me.
Yes, i know, it costs your money. And you cannot land on new bought ac and only 1 move for us to attach France.
Oh, you’re talking about the destroyer buy!
Yes, it’s easy to forget that possibility as allies. It was WELL worth it!
You can still build air on newly built carriers there.
I had a strategy but based on at least kill your units in Arch and this dont work and I have no plan B in my pocket
It’s going to be tough from here out :face_with_cowboy_hat:
And this when you dont see my fig coming. Now there will be no surprise
I don’t like surprises.
Unless it is a nice assortment of gifts from Germany
I was sure you will not scramble sz110.
Ool in WG please.
buk11.tsvg
I don’t have an airbase on 110!
Will get you the choice now
