As clearly stated by the rules Japan starts the game being at war with China only.
There is no state of war between Japan and the Netherlands.

In order to attack Dutch colonies Japan needs to establish a state of war with UK/ANZAC instead.

Rulebook Pacific 1940.2, page 37:

Japan may attack Dutch territories only if a state of war exists between it and the United Kingdom and ANZAC.

I was just wondering if it is allowed to send more than two planes to a battle in a seazone when only one carrier could be there at the end of turn. The motivation would be that some of the aircraft would die in the battle and each individual aircraft can land on the carrier. Did not find an answer in the rulebook but probably didn’t look thoroughly enough.

should qualify the above statement with the caveat that you must still fulfill the kamikaze conditions…think that requires a sea combat be declared (1 japanese destroyer should work)

If you capture a naval base on your turn, and you have ships adjacent to it that haven’t moved.�  During NCM do they recieve the boost?

nope, to able to get move bonus, u have to control it at the start of your turn.

The rules does not say anything about that… In my team the ships get a boost. What does Larry say about this

Yes.  Transports that unload for an amphibious assault do so in the Combat movement phase (ending their movement for that turn), and so they are considered part of the combat force.

Unless you do G3 True neutral crush with attack on Turkey and Spain and sweden.
