let’s just end this. Japan is basically powerless to prevent America from continuing to just pour into poor euro axis. I made a fundamental mistake with Japan early in the game and that’s that. plus a few things I could’ve done better with the SL, and my aa luck kicked in way too late. good game and well played. I did enjoy experimenting on this.

ok. sounds good. I was thinking I was going to get kicked out of Slovakia but thats just not the case and while I am not sure how to be too much more offensive, I dont really need to be with my current position and the income differential.

I thought you had a chance to knock me out of EPol which I think would have been game. Once I stabilized there with US airforce and then was able to push west things got ugly.
I was aggressive in China and was able to make a few airstrikes that really made a big difference. You had some heavier than expected attrition there as well and I was able to get China rolling. I thought you heading to Africa was a mistake as it freed up the US just enough to make things work in China. I wonder what would have happened if you had just played hard against pacific with Japan from the beginning rather than let Japan worry about Europe.

You’re right, the failure to push you out of east Poland was my downfall. I thought I was making enough good progress but did not plan well.

But it was an interesting experiment and fun. We could try a what if for fun, what if I didn’t send the japs over to Africa. See how the game goes. Could be a good learning exercise for us.

@axis-dominion meh, perhaps I could have retreated in Slov or Pol but Ill leave it alone. Not sure what to do here. Felt like swapping tank for 2 inf was a better move for me. The tanks are more replaceable than 2 inf since I have limited production capacity. Looks really ugly to lose all those units on G5 but part of that is just because you completely whiffed. And possibly preventing Italy from going at Slov seems like a win as well and worth the loss of units and AA gun there.
And I wanted the air in Nov and not using it significantly lessens the chance for disaster in one of those territories where I lose air, and cant manage to take the territory anyway. For instance if I sent three air and 3 inf to Poland I would most likely take it but 50% chance of losing air (which is the same as losing the tank). And the cruiser marine combo wont be any use after this turn so I dont mind losing the cruiser.
