Thanks so much for the reference.

There’s two main house rules for Canada. One is the Halifax rules which basically includes Canada as part of ANZAC.

Second is the one in Triplea. Canada as its own power and develops from BM3. This is not so easy for table top games because Canada doesn’t have its own set of units. Perhaps you can paint a bunch.

Neither of these rules have gained a huge amount of interest or acceptance.

You know a transport merely can disembark units to one territory per turn, which ends its turn immediately. So you can’t take a transport, ship one unit to Germany via SZ113 and sail on to SZ114 to put an infantry to poland.
You can’t even put one to Western Germany and one to Germany in the same turn from the same transport…

Pack the UK with Inf, move the Indian fleet towards the Med and start being very aggressive with the Soviet Union.

With the new rules it seems to me that an airbase in Korea would be the way to go every game, stationing 3 fighters in Korea and at least 3 in Japan if theres any sense that an attack on any vessels or Japan itself is imminent. That would give you an extra 6 fighters to defend SZ6. Correct me if I’m wrong.

I did that in a game last week. Worked great. The U.K. attacked my Japanese fleet first and then a small ANZAC fleet did the same on their turn all in the same round. Wiped them all out with small losses.

No worries  :-D  It’s in a bunch of other threads, but here’s the latest Alpha+1.  Frankly though I like Alpha+ the best so far.  I think it’s the most balanced.  Haven’t tried +1 yet though.
