I killed a sub with the last BB hit I had. You can trade it for sinking the damaged CV, but since it defends better, I thought that is what you would want.My poor rolls is making this a close thing. Very unsatisfying if I don’t sink you. But your bite has been reduced to a nibble, so I can recharge.

I can take Egypt in the long run (probably?) but there is no way I can hold both Leningrad and Paris at the same time. Good game, well played. Ill post it.
I’m up for a rematch if you are, but I still have no idea how to play the allies (working on it) so id have to be the axis again if you’re up for it (you’d have a bid next time).

Of course, I’d entertain another game, but there’s no better way to learn to play the Allies than trying it. Fundamentally, they have 3 advantages over the Axis.
More money–at least initially
Ability to attack with one group and defend with the other or repetitive attacks.
Attack from many directions. The more fronts you open up the better.Their fundamental flaws are
lack of consolidated forces. Have to group units to defend and can’t make frontal attacks.
Cracks between forces that allow Axis to exploit and grow rapidly.
Isolation. This is the real killer.Regarding bids. Typically, for BM3 I’d play the Allies at +9.
We can do that if you want.
Or I’ll play double that bid if you want to try the Allies. With 18, you can have 3 subs in Atlantic to ensure safety of your fleet, which drastically puts a crimp in the Axis war plan. -
