Nice.
Italy plays before UK

Re: [Global 40](Allied Advantage?)
I think moving Italy to play before UK helps the Axis a bit… It also helps to better split the turns, so the Allies have a major player between each Axis turn. -
@MMC-Chuck You will soon learn that it makes Italy overpowered. I would buff UK. I once did a game where all the Axis and then all the Allies move at the same time so we can allow allied fighting on offensive and you learn very quickly that Germany and Italy can destroy the Allies in the Med in a single turn and protect all three Italian transports which basically puts UK in Africa on defense and Italy will get to Egypt before UK can take the Middle East.
-
just have Italy neutral till her first turn, not unlike USSR, USA…same rules
-
@Caesar-Seriona Thank you for your reply. I have been playing A&A for over 30 years, but only have about 7 plays of Global under my belt. Allies have won every time. I will have to examine the Med more closely… I LOVE playing Global!!!

@Imperious-Leader You could but like me trying to get France goes first, you basically have to change the entire game to get any mod to work.
-
This is about Italy being neutral until her own first turn, not France
-
Historically Italy declares war on France after Dunkirk but before Paris falls.A Mussellini blunder IMO.Had she stayed neutral and been attacked by UK (eg. Taranto raid) an outraged public would’ve maybe supported the war effort. In A&A this is represented as some sort of income bonus.Of course a neutral Italy would’nt allow German units to land on their airbase or pass through N.Italy while on their way to S.France.

@ampdrive Italy declared war on UK to try to get a strategic edge before UK made the first move. The reason for going into France is to take an advantage of the fact that France clearly was fighting like shite and wanted to gain easy land.
