ouch, I had miscalc’ed quite a bit, I had originally thought for some reason that if I sent all my US figs to Aleutian, I’d be able to send them all to Japan and the 4 extra cvs I built in 10 would catch some of them. lol talk about brain glitch.
so I had to reroute a bunch to queens as a desperate alternative/backup plan.

I don’t believe your G bomber surviving would’ve made much of a difference. I could’ve easily double or triple blocked Johnston for example. Your biggest problem imo is that you have to face the hard reality of those Chinese forces that crept up on you. You couldn’t have your airforce too far off or they’d be at the coast by now.
