@barnee I am not able to recreate the bug anymore, I suppose it’s only the first time I loaded, the result above was done by your method, with the renamed folder instead of the zip file.
TripleA on old computer
-
Hey P@nther,
hope it’s okay to jump into this thread. I’m trying to designate a computer at home to triplea, so I can remotely access it from work through my chromebook. I have an old one with windows 7 home edition. it will download and run the latest version of triplea, but it won’t pop up when finished nor can i do anything except endlessly reinstall it. I have tried scouring the computer of any trace of triplea and then have started from scratch to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

Good idea using your chromebook with TripleA this way! I played around with that about two years ago, too.
How much RAM does your old computer have? Also is it Windows 7 32bit?
I assume you have the latest Java 8 already installed? Also: The files of TripleA are present after installation - please check in c:\Program Files\TripleA (… unless you have not changed the install directory)?
Without knowing further details I assume that you have the same issues that we solved starting from here:
