I would say yes. I believe in the rule book it states that parings may occur in any stage of a turn. For example, if i have a tank and a mech. infantry blitzing into a enemy territory with a tank, that would be considered combat movement. Than in the combat stage one could pair the tank with a tactical Bomber. Both movements being legal in my opinion and experience but i would check out the pairing section of your rule book to affirm this.
Blitzing mech infantry

Hi,
A mech infantry may blitz along with a tank (paired 1 on 1) IF both start in the same territory. However, do they also have to end their movement in the same territory, or may the mech infantry, after moving into the unprotected enemy territory together with the tank, move into a different second territory (friendly or enemy)?
Thanks, Zeus

No, it may not:
@rulebook:
Unit Characteristics
Blitz: A mechanized infantry unit must normally stop when it enters an enemy controlled territory. However, when paired
one-for-one with a tank, it can make a blitz movement (see “Tanks,” page 27) along with that tank. The movement of both
units must start and end in the same territories. -
Wow, the answer to a rules question is not often that Obvious :-) ! Completely missed that part. Thanks for pointing it out!
