Long time reader first time poster, I’m thinking about selling my copy. Its not sealed but never played (could never get friends to play with me). If anyone is looking for a copy feel free to send me a message.

Hey, I am looking to buy AA Anniversary Edition. I just wanted to know where y’all think I can get the best price. THANKS for all the help.
-
Both Amazon and Walmart.com (their online storefront) have it for the oddly specific price of $60.98, both with free shipping options. $61 for this game is a good price (offer valid in the US only, see your local e-tailer for details, void where prohibited…)

@Midnight_Reaper I have the original edition of the AA Aniversary Edition (unplayed). Do you think it has still some collector value ?

I have no empirical data, but since you asked me directly, I’ll give you my opinion. Most of what drove up the resale price of the original edition was the fact that it was pay for it or go home. Now that you can get a copy of the reprint for less, this depresses the resale value for a copy of the original print.
That said, the original print had some things that the reprint does not. (See my post on BGG on that subject for a run-down of exactly what I mean by that.) And so, the original print retains some of its inflated value from before, for hard core A&A game collectors.
All-in-all, I would say that you should be able to get roughly somewhere around $150 to $250 for a good condition original print, perhaps more if you find the right buyer. While this is more than what you can get for flipping a copy of the reprint, this is also quite a step down from the $500+ the original was commanding before AH announced the reprint.
And that’s my opinion. I hope it was useful to you.

Original print runs will always hold a little more value. Just like 1st edition books.
That said, I would think the 1st edition will be a better purchase because of the boards.
I haven’t checked recently, but I don’t think my 1st edition boards are bowing anywhere near as bad as my 2nd edition.
My second edition were so bad I e-mailed WOTC for a replacement. After a lot of back and forthing, they replaced them. Actually, they just sent me a whole new game. Now, these new boards are also starting to bow.
Will check my 1st edition soon and report back.

@Midnight_Reaper Yes, certainly helpfull, your comments are very interesting. I also checked your link for the differencies between the two versions. On youtube, I found also a nice comparison :

Much appreciated, Tks.

@robert-t Tks, glad to hear about that

just checked my two editions.
Sculpts have more detail in the first edition as seen in the video.
mold must be wearing down when they did the 2nd edition. (from Europe 10402nd edition proABLYY)Boards definitely are not warped like in the 2nd edition.
My guess is less/different glue used in the 1st edition. All in all, the first is better for boards and second has a few new/different sculpts.
