Hasbro 1998 Axis & Allies on Windows 7

I have tried TripleA but I still like my 1998 AA version. Since building my new rig I’ve lost the files and patches. This game just brings me back to my middle school and high school years. Anyone happen to still have the files?

Darn, was hopin it was already done!  Hey, we gotta be first out the door, we don’t want that icky TripleA game showing us up!  We’re Abattlemap!  We’re the best!  (wink)

Let me know if you need anything other than me sitting down to deal with the 2nd edition rules, to help out.  I need to print them out and read them - one day.

our UI uses Swing,

and to be Android / iStuff compatible, someone would need to redo our UI in a different library that is specially made for those platforms.

You raise a good question about getting permission from WOTC.  I assumed since there are two other apps that do similar things that adding a third to iTunes would be no problem.  I didn’t ask for WOTC’s permission first, however, I just sent off an email to WOTC’s press handler to see if there is any issue so we’ll see what comes back.  I’d hate to have to pull it with all the work I put into it, but if asked to do so, I will.  If that happens I imagine the other two apps will have to be pulled as well.
