Our team will need some tips for pbf since we have never used it, but it can wait till round 2 (BYE).

What (where) are the rules again? How many games to elimination? Do we play each team twice, flipping sides the 2nd game?

rules are at the beginning of this thread.  no double elimination.

I liked the double elimination format it meant you weren’t necessarily dead if you got a hard draw.  What bogged the tournament down was everyone choosing specific countries and playing only their country rather than playing as a team and just having whoever was available play the next turn when it came up.  I believe one of the original purposes of having teams was to keep games moving but that went right out the window from round 1.

But the rules you are referring too are “PRELIMINARY RULES/PURPOSE/GAME-NOTES FOR DISCUSSION”

They don’t need much work imo though but I’d like one clarification: Are we doing this with standard bidding or will there be a standard setup we all play with?
