Would someone be so kind as to post a photo comparing the color and size of a German 1914 cruiser with an Anzac cruiser from Pacific 40 2nd edition. Â I would greatly appreciate it. Â

Thank you! If you would set a sub, battleship and transport from 1914 in the shot as well, that would be great. Also, above and front shots with a 1914 biplane sitting between an Anzac fighter and Anzac tactical bomber would be a great help. Thank you again! :mrgreen:

No problem. Are the three extra ships to be compared with the first two, or with their respective ANZAC counterparts? Just checking to make sure I’m interpreting correctly.

…shows a German 1914 / ANZAC 1940 colour comparison for the infantry units. I’ll try to improve the lighting in the new pictures, however. I assume you’re trying to determine how compatible the two sets of sculpts are.

Yes. I need some specific units for a Pacific War scenario that I’m working on and some of the 1914 units might fit the bill nicely if sizing and color are good.

My pleasure. As you can see from the overhead ship pictures, the ANZAC and German 1914 shades aren’t a great match (at least not under daylight conditions, which is what I used to take the pictures), but at least they’re in the same ballpark.

Strangely enough, it looks like the planes are closer in color than the ships are. Or maybe it’s just the lighting.

It’s probably the lighting. I moved my table around in some of the shots to get direct sunlight on the sculpts, to see if this would affect how the colours looked relative to each other.
