I have played this game before. It’s awesome!

cool game. not sure how they avoided copyright infringement. Some excellent rules. Mechs, Guards & Heavy tanks for Germany. Marines/Rangers too. Even Paratroopers. Liked the force limits for each as well. Some stuff I’d like to see incorpoated into G40. But in truth, G40 is superior.

I think that Xeno was sued, but the judge found that the game was different enough as to not infringe on copyright.
I have tried this as well as their Europe at War. Europe at War inspired me to do my own.

You could assasinate Hitler for extra units.

NO, you could assassinate hitler for + 5 IPC’s a turn.
It was a 1 shot deal.
At ANY point in the game you could roll 1d6.
on a 1 you lost 2 infantry and an armor unit.
on a 6 you shot hitler, and got +5 IPC’s a turn
on a 2,3,4,5, you got nothing and nothing happend.

I think there was rail roading of infantry. Been years since I played. Fun, however.

Somebody should redo the map for that game. make a larger version.

My 1939 global war rules came from global 40 and xeno games world at war. I got the game when I was stationed in Hawaii and my shipmates and I played all the time…I remember the SS panzers rolling through the Russin territories like crazy. Super game

I agree Xeno 1939 game was bad ass
russkie infantry at 2$ was pretty brutal
but it was fun to use each countries special units
I think us fighters were 10$ if I remember right
