They can lose. Even mildly careless behavior can cause either team to lose—even with a huge bid or starting advantage. That’s just what kind of game this is. Have a great player play until Turn 6, then put a first time player in their seat and give them control of the other side to watch how quickly this swings.

Axis & Allies Europe 1940,is it going to be a limited run like AA50.and where can i download AA50 rule book,my 1 year old destroyed my copy

It is not listed directly at AV downloads? Hard to find because it is under the games section. Choose AA50 and you will see the downloads for manual and FAQ.

Europe and Pacific 1940 are not “anniversary” editions. They will continue to be printed as long as they continue to sell.
-
sorry, the europe game is listed on amazon uk as anniversary edition, this must be a mistake
-
thanks for the link
-
I hope the games (continue) to sell well, because it increases the chance of a second print run for Pacific, in which I’d expect certain errors to be fixed and hopefully Europe quality cardboard.

I think the Europe and Pacific games will do well. Since I’ve bought mine and showed them to some friends I’m finding people get really interested. I’ve lent out my copy of revised so someone can learn to play the game and another friend who has play Axis and Allies before went out and bought Europe after we played Friday night.

Ok settle down folks.
