You should check out Young Grasshoppers videos for global(you’ll see all the units on the Europe map at start-up)
Sometimes I find units do sort of spill over into nearby zones. In our last game we had a lot of units parked in Romania. We parked aaa guns and air units in the black sea and just announced that they’re all in Romania.Point the noses of the planes at the territory you want them to be in so there’s less chance of confusion.
What's the first thing you'll do upon getting Europe 1940?

Look at the bored for about a minute.

Of course, but to me the picture says they don’t match up.
It would totally figure if WOTC made such a mistake.
You know very well Cal Moore did something to our game. The question is whether it’s more typos, missing pieces, ect…
They don’t fire that guy who determines what goes in the game, nor do they fire the guy to does the typesetting.
Of course i hope i am wrong, but something always happens and if not all the better.

Put on clean underwear.

First thing I will do is ship all pre-orders (I will get it a few days before release :-D )
Then I will open it and set up the Global game… Then I will sit staring at it for hours in all it glory thinking of all the possibilities.
Yay im one of those pre-orders! I’ll just focus on G1 strategy no doubt.

UN Spacey,
A-town here as well. You ever play Axis and Allies at Great Hall Games off Lamar? I need some practice with the new rules/Pacific40 before August. I got a copy of AA50 and Revised as well.

Unfortunately I will only be returning on August 11. By then I’ll probably be busy finding a job (fresh high school graduate saving up for gap year=very busy graduate).
I’ve never been there, but if I could somehow get there before August 24 and in-between finding a job I’ll be more than happy too :-D

I will probably go to the furniture store to buy a new table. I have serious doubts that the game will even fit on my table! What is it something like 36x60?

write an angry letter cause they forgot to include mech inf and tact bombers…

It’s 70" x 32" plus you need room for charts and pieces. I too will prob be looking for a new table.

That size is almost the same as a Warhammer match. Add charts, dices, money (sacked from old games :-P ) and similar stuff, and you have the same size. Interesting coincidence
-
my dining room table has a center insert of 18" that will “just” fit the global board.
I think the players are going to have to keep their charts and pieces in their laps. That way no one can get up untill the game is over.
-
i will add more details to the plans for the A and a table im going to build
-
two different home made tables that I think are awesome:

Bah. Sad face here. I’ll be headed to Lubbock for graduate work myself by then in August. Maybe I’ll meet some of your friends there over the weekends. It’s hard to find dedicated Axis and Allies players willing to try a table-top game.
-
open the box and have a debate and demand to play as Germany because I bought the game.
-
Keep all three mint for resale along with the three copies I bought for Pacific.
I only play the game at my local comic shop’s Axis and Allies club. That way, I keep my own perfect, and I actually play with out having to beg someone.
