It depends on what “work” means – in other words, on whether players would consider a Kursk scenario appealing. Conceptually, Kursk would be similar to A&A D-Day (minus the water) in the sense that the battle was fundamentally a frontal assault on a heavily-defended static position, and similar to A&A Battle of the Bulge in the sense that it would involve ground forces driving into enemy lines, but different from both games in the sense that from the German point of view Kursk was a pincer movement aimed at pinching off a salient, and that from the Russian point of view it was a two-stage offensive-defensive battle. Personally I think it has good potential to make an interesting game, if it’s designed properly.

Looking forward to these Italians as they are sorely needed for my N. Africa game. Thanks for the photo.

and dident you say a long while back it will be cheeper if i buy the combat dice(full set)and the italians
(and maby now the germs)? -
Seeing them in the brown color all together really brings it home. Looks like a finished product. Are you happy with the final result? It will go very nicely with everything. Can’t wait to get my hands on these things! Great job again.
-
OMG FMG!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeeet! :)
-
i dont see a cruzer:( and I love how they turned out.
also they actually look like what there suppose to
-
I noticed that the Italians had four vehicles. A truck, two tanks, and a armoured car. Will Germany have two tanks. Say a panzer III and a tiger.

Isn’t the cruiser the one under the carrier? It’s a bit different from the destroyer under it.

where have you been…lol. the germs have the TIGER I AND TIGER II(king tiger)

Ahhh! FINAL production samples. Beautiful. Can’t wait to get my hands on them.
So, they are a few shades darker than the OOB Italian pieces. Well, I guess that pretty much cancels the idea of mixing these with OOB pieces. I would like to see some of these next to the FMG Italian combat dice just to see how close the color matching is. I like that the infantry and commander figures look to be the same color as the rest of the pieces. With OOB, often the infantry were a slightly different shade.
-
Hmm… not sure I’d put too much faith in what shade they appear to be on your computer screen, my wife’s a photographer and has went through great lengths to calibrate the system’s colors with the subject matter - but I still see slight differences. Just say’in (and problem solved if you paint 'em).
These figs are looking awesome… especially excited for the infantry.
-
I don’t know if this has been covered before, but does anybody know what kind of plastic the FMG minis are made out of? Is it the same kind of brittle stuff that you get with normal A&A? (except for the Infantry, 'cause I know they’re different anyways) Or is it the kind of bendy stuff that you get from places like Eagle Games? Many thanks.

I stopped going on AA for a while.

Wow are the pre-orders going to ship in the next week. I am stoked. It is finally here. Outstanding.
-
The final product looks great - can’t wait to receive my order and see the pieces in person. :-D
On a side note, I do hope that in the event that this project is financially successful, FMG will consider producing extra unit types, including a Pre-War Battleship, Light or Escort Carrier, Heavy (4-Engined?) Bomber, Self-Propelled Artillery, and maybe even a third Tank/Tank Destroyer option for each nation. (Of course, coachofmany could already be making some of these himself).
