darn I should have grabed that pesky northern territory!

    okay, simply take the weak
remove 3 carriers; 2 cruiser; tac, UK BB; US BB; 2 anzac figher; 2 US fighter

So remaining should be 3 US fighters, 1 Anzac fighter right?

The anzac fighter goes last :)

  • Fiji. Hmm what is that smudge over at Fiji. Look more like a aircraft carrier than a smudge. Guess my proud fleet won’t live to tell the tale after all. Mind if I edit my last round losses to keep a few more aircrafts instead?

  • Ony would think it wouldn’t be to hard to overlook units that are so close. Guess I got a little tunnel vision on sz54 and only double checked the obvious spot; Hawaii. Anyway if you don’t mind:
Two less cc afloat. Another fig & tac lands safetly in that pesky ‘unimportant’ northern territory.  :-)

no problem. Obviously, that’s the common triplea problem. In a table top game, you would have certainly noticed the carrier there :)

I have no problem with your edit, but it seems, that you defraud yourself of 1 hitpoint in your last round. Because you would have had one tac more in your last round with the new casualty choice. (However I’m not entirely sure if it would be paired)

But anyway, I don’t think this matters for the rest of the game

Indeed. I find that the mini-map helps, when I remember to check it.

Do you want to scramble in 112? 8-)

And if I get lucky and score two hits in australias northern territory, what is your OOL?

  • '19 '18 '17

    …pokerface…

  • No scramble.  :-D

I’ll lose the marine, bmb, tacs, figs. More extended OOL than requested in case I get really unlucky.  :-)

  • For a moment before I loaded the map I feared I may have screwed up my defense of Germany.
But to my relief Britain did still lack a dd in range of sz113.  :-)

  • '19 '18 '17

    @Mistergreen:

For a moment before I loaded the map I feared I may have screwed up my defense of Germany.
But to my relief Britain did still lack a dd in range of sz113.  :-)

I hope you’ve had a good breakfast, are in a good mood and are able to savour this beautiful sunny day today, because

I’m afraid, that a UK dd is not necessary, because my channel transports can reach SZ 114 also.

Triplea lets me drive with the transports from 110 straight to 114 and unload from the friendly SZ 114 into germany. To my understanding this is correct behaviour since submarines do not block movement of any ship. They would have stopped me from unloading from SZ 113 because lone transports can only unload to an amphibious assault in a seazone with submerged submarines if at least one attacking warship (does not have to be a dd) is also present (which there is none and none in reach of 113). But since I can reach 114, I’m free to go.

Do you agree on that? (I know what triplea lets you do is not always correct, the rules above are quite scattered around the rulebook and I’m not really sure about that myself)

This wasn’t a move I worked towards. For me it was also quite a surprise as I looked on the map after your japan turn! (after the fleet clash)

Quite funny is, that I learned, that this is even a possibility in the other (my first) online game (here is the turn) I’m participating. The allied player did this in turn 6 to me and I wasn’t aware that this could even happen. But I never thought, that I get a little bit of reparation right in the next game…

And does this change the scrambling order?
