2.6 is not letting me access my games

@dawgoneit there is no built-in screen recording for windows 7 you will need to download a 3rd party app but they are pretty easy to use and many are free. i am not pc so i can not personally recommend any particular app

@ubernaut where do i get it? I’m an older person. I didn’t grow up on a computer. If I need anything done like that I get my son or daughter to come over. they only come over once in a while. its hard for them being they have they’re families and jobs. I can do things if i’m advised how to do them. the only things i do is A&A and amazon on the computer. panther usually coaches me thru things when I get in trouble.
I am sorry I can’t do all these things. please forgive me.
I hope i’m not being a pain.
If your not sure how to help me I’ll try to get one of my kids to come over.
again i’m sorry for any trouble.

When i push on the game thread this little box pops up and disapiers very fast so i can’t see what it says. its something about the maps. iv’e tried a bunch of times to try to see what it says.
then when the black page shows up it looks normal. the area just above where you can choose your map is where it shows who just did they’re turn and how many times its been downloaded. all that only stays up for about 5 seconds and that to disapears and the emails also. i type in our emails and the game ID and it always takes me back to the start of the game. not to where the game is at.
I dont no if it has anything to do with it but i have to go back and forth between 2.5 and 2.6 to play all my games.
but i haven’t played a single turn with the 2.614615 because of this.

While waiting for someone to assist you on your PC let uns try something else.
From your words I understand that you use a quite uncommon (at least to me) way to launch TripleA.

Did I understand correctly that you

• klick on the savegame right in the topic of your game thread?
• this initiates the start of TripleA and the (somehow failing) load of your game (or not)?

In case this is correct - that can’t work when you have more than one TripleA installations.

So please try as follows:

Please download the savegame file from the game thread, that means rightclick on the file and save it on your hard drive at a place where you will find it (maybe directly to your desktop or a special download folder in case you have one).

Then first move to the TripleA 2.5 installation folder. Inside this folder find the TripleA.exe and doubleclick on it. In case an error message opens, ignore it and close it. Now on the left side of the panel find “Open Saved Game”. Load the game you saved before and open it. What happens?

After that move to the TripleA 2.6 installation folder. Inside this folder find the TripleA.exe and doubleclick on it. In case an error message opens, ignore it and close it. Now on the left side of the panel find “Open Saved Game”. Load the game you saved before and open it. What happens?

Please tell us what happens in both cases.
