Let’s see. I did not have such bad luck, but i am also not so sure if the Russian move was that good. Especially since the Baltics are still German held.
@Gorshak Yes, I think taking it would prevent me moving into both Baltic and Bessarabia next turn, odds of counterattack would be too heavily against me to do both.
Probably worth the 2nd infantry but that’s also wasted 70% of the time. Tough call.

The Taranto raid ends in a catastrophe for the British!
After round 2 I was so frustrated that I somehow just clicked before realizing the preset loss of the carrier.
I could not stop the rolls anymore.
I rolled the battle after the rest of the battles again from the 3rd round.
If you are not ok with that I will, of course, accept the first outcome.
@Gorshak I’m fine with the edit. Second time I’ve seen a Toranto raid go super poorly for the Brits in PtV, and I think only the second time it’s been attempted on me. I guess usually I don’t G1 Russia so I have an extra fighter to scramble. Total coincidence but crazy to see!

My units got 5 hits, so it only the intact carrier and one other unit if you save the carrier? Perhaps you want to do the fighter, tactical, and strat bomber since you could land with some protection in syria?

I was just completely rerolling the 3rd (and there even was a 4th) round of combat - you can check the dice server mails for that.
Anyway I am also fine with handling it like like you suggested:
we keep the first dice result and I just rearange the losses. It is completely up to you as it was my mistake. :)

Ok. I got the dice emails labeled round 3 & round 4 which I believe correlates to round 2 & 3 in the actual game (not sure why MARTI is always ahead one round). That seemed to match the game you posted so that’s where I was confused. I don’t have any other dice emails for that sea combat, I usually don’t get all of them. I am not worried about it.
So if I understand correctly, you re-rolled the battle from round 3 with losing the bomber, tactical, destroyer, and one fighter, having already taken four hits. I then got no more hits in all rounds leaving you with the carrier, cruiser, and one fighter.

Yes you undestood correctly.
To reroll from round 3 I had to manually (edit mode) create a new battle with the dice server in our game with the units you mentioned. Then rolled that battle with the dice server.
As this newly created battle (with UK carrier, cruiser, fighter and ITA damaged BB and trans) started in round 1 - you should have gotten these mails labelled round 2 +3 in MARTI (as it somehow adds 1 to the round number).
