    @Panzerstahl-Helm The AG Flags were before the Boxes and Icons were created. I think it’d probably be ok to get rid of the Active Flag and give the icon it’s combat value. Idk. Have to think on it

    @Panzerstahl-Helm Actually we need to keep the Flag for when there are multiple AGs in the same TTy. Only 1 AG can be active.

    I need your scramble orders for London.
    Furthermore I am attackick with 2nd Waffen-SS-Army Poland. I activated Oberst_2 to activate the army.
    In Bessarabia I am marching in with the Army Group Centre and 1st Panze army is accessoire only, hence deactivated.
    I hope this is working.

  • @Panzerstahl-Helm 2nd Waffen should have a Oberst3 as the Arty hits at 3. The 2 is for Inf boost.

    It’ll be a edit Battle with the Paras, so no need to redo it, just adjust for another 3 hit obviously :)

  • @Panzerstahl-Helm I will not scramble. This is the one part of the mod i don’t like. I think it could be improved.

    I understand the blokes had radar early, so I can kinda see being able to vector your Ftrs where you want, but unless you have overwhelming Air Superiority, you’re probably only gonna hit one target.

    I also think Undg Fctrys should take some damage. Maybe up to half and round up to the Fctrys favor.

    Also think Air Battle shouldn’t be complete victory. Maybe 2 or 3 Rds max.

    Would have to test it all but … :)

    Anyway, I’m tempted to intercept the Bmbrs but i will not scramble and rely on my AA Gunners :)

    I ran out your Combats in local and the Arty boosted a Inf to 3 and the Oberst then boosted it to two 3’s which would be correct.

    I’ll make a note of it in Notes. I would still go with Oberst 3 though in that situation as the boosted units are picked somewhat arbitrarily.

    In this instance with the Arty it works but if no Arty and you had a Pnzrgrndr and 2 Inf and placed a 2, it wouldn’t.

    2 for all Inf, 3 for anything that has something other than Inf but no Pnzr and 4 if at least 1 Pnzr.

    Generally you want to try and have all your Armies with 1 Pnzr per Army by mid to late Game. Makes them the most effective obviously, but easier said than done in my experience :)

    @Panzerstahl-Helm I tried an Air Battle in Edit and it sadly doesn’t work. It asks for Attackers casualties first.

    Too bad. Will have to be done with dicebot. Do you have any java coding skills ? Mine are basically non existent.

    It might be something simple to fix is why I ask. Then again, maybe not.

    Maybe I’ll try and compile the code again so i at least have a starting point. Idk, even if I found a fix it would be ignored by the triplea dictator.

    Whatever, we’ll just have to work with what we have, although asvitkine on git been doing some fixes lately. He’s pretty cool.

    You’d have todo a feature request at the triplea or git site if you were interested though and that will most likely be ignored too lol

    Germany Attacks UK Fctry with 2 Bmbrs and 2 Ftr Ecrt

    UK Defends with 2 Ftrs against the Fctry Attack
    2 Intercpt @ 4 D4 [dice 2d6<=4]

    Germany Attacks AB with 2 Tacs

    No Intercept

    @Panzerstahl-Helm so the 2 Escorts didn’t hit anything but the BadAss Commander of the Bmbr wing was able to allow his wingman to knock down a bloke inteceptor, although not before he got a kill on one of the Escorts and his wingman downed the other or did he ?

    Jerry can take a Bmbr(s) or a Ftr(s)as casualties. If he takes the Ftrs, that leaves 2 Bmbrs A@1 against 1 Ftr D@4 or 1 Ftr A@3 1 Bmbr A@1 against 1 UK Ftr D@4 if he takes a Bmbr and a Ftr as a hit. Or he can have 2 Ftrs A@3 if he takes his Bmbrs as a hit or he can retreat.

    UK can also retreat with his remaining Interceptor or continue to Defend his Sovereign’s Air Space.

    The Attacker must declare his decision first. In this example Germany takes 1 Escort and 1 Bmbr as a loss and press the Attack.

    The RAF score another hit and the Luftwaffe none. Jerry takes a Ftr as a loss and retreats his Bmbr.

    This would all be done at the End of CM and then edit the correct results before Combat. The Tacs will bomb the AB in normal Combat unopposed other than AA Fire.

    That is how i see it playing out but it’s still new to me as well :) Too bad Edit doesn’t work. Whatever, you can go back and redo at any stage of the Battle with Dicebot a lot easier than Edit. :)

    I know @The-Captain is busy with the Tournament, but I will ping him anyway. :)

    When you get a chance Captain, will you verify the above is correct. End of CM is so the results can be edited before Combat in triplea.

    @Panzerstahl-Helm yea so your Waffen Army needs to be Formed at the Start of CM in order to be Active.

    It looks like you moved 1st Waffen from his Box to POL it needs to deploy with AG Center since it’s a part of it.

    Your purchases would create Waffen 2 in G after 1st Place. Inf, Arty, Pnzrgrndr and Oberst. Before CM you would want to update Waffen 2 Obert in Germany to Oerst3 and use them to Attack POL.

    No need to move to the Box as they are attacking that phase.

    I will redo turn so you see the correct moves.

  • @barnee ok, ubderstood reagrding the Waffen-Oberst and how to use them.
    Regarding the SBR - I will go and change the target to factory only (so 2 bombers + 2 tacticals bombing factory only) I will also add the fighter who is attacking in SZ104 to make it 3 fighter as escort to London. This will make your descicion easier not to intercept. Only if that is ok for you. Otherwise I will keep it as it is.
    Regarding the underground factory and taking damage - nit sure if that would overcomplicate the game. Underground factories are meant to be protected. In the area where I come from was a factory for torpedos drilled in the mountain. Pretty sure that even today no bomb will cause any harm to that factory.

    I am on the way to an event from the kibdergarten today, so i will complete my G5 only later on. Bit you will have my move when you get up. (what time is it no where you live anyways? )


  • @Panzerstahl-Helm yea you can keep bombing raid on london as is.

    I just finished recreating your CM. A ton of Edit as I was trying to be exact but should be close enough. :)

    The big takeaway is the Formation of 2nd SS. You could use Edit during place and remove and Place to the box, but since CM coming up, I just left them in Germany and then moved 2nd Waffen Token in Edit .

    So 2nd Waffen consists of Oberst3 ( will boost either Arty or Pnzrgrndr ) Inf, Pnzrgrndr and Arty. All Waffen of course :)

    @Panzerstahl-Helm yea so the Tacs can’t Bomb the Fctry and they can’t Escort so, you can leave as is or i think you said another Ftr/Escrt ?

    Either way, it’s still a pretty strong move as is but an extra Escort would help unless he’s going to africa :)

    Sorry I’m gonna go regenerate. i hope 7of 9 will be too lol
